Getting to the island of Utö (Stockholm Archipelago)

Utö is located in the Stockholm southern archipelago and can be easily reached by boat from both Nynäshamn, Årsta Brygga and in summertime also from Strömkajen at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm.

Waxholmsbolaget is the principal of traffic and timetables for all lines, more information at waxholmsbolaget.se
and for the English guests at waxholmsbolaget.se/visitor

Timetables and route description is available on both Waxholmsbolagets website and Utö Rederi's website.

Are you coming by car, there is a car park at Årsta brygga where you can pay by mobile and cards. A more complete description can be found on the website for Utö Parkerings AB

Do you need a water taxi, please contact UtoStuga for more information.
One of the boats also offers free transport to the house.

A new boat line has been added during the peak of the summer; Nord/Sydlinjen. The line is 70 nautical miles and extends throughout our beautiful outer archipelago, from Arholma in the north to Nynäshamn in the south. The line has added about 25 of the archipelago's finest excursion destinations. Timetable and exact route for 2018 still to be determined. Nord/Sydlinjen is part of Waxholmsbolaget's traffic, and the same tickets are valid as on the other traffic.

If you arrive by airplane, there are buses to Stockholm City from all airports. From Arlanda also fast train and commuter trains. To reach Utö you take the commuter train to Västerhaninge and bus 846 directly to the boat.
